Asset 3

Spinal Manipulation

Also called spinal manipulative therapy or manual therapy, it is a combination of moving and jostling or jolting joints, tissue massage, physical exercise, and physical therapy. Spinal Manipulation reduces inflammation by relieving pressure on joints. It can also improve nerve function. Manipulative therapy can be used to treat back, neck, shoulder, and headache pain.

Asset 5

Electrotherapy

Electrotherapy is the use of controlled, low voltage electrical energy as a medical treatment. In medicine, the term electrotherapy can apply to a variety of treatments, including the use of electrical devices to reduce pain, improve circulation, repair tissues, strengthen muscles, and promote bone growth, leading to improvements in physical functioning.

Asset 4

Therapeutic Exercise

Therapeutic exercise refers to a range of physical activities that helps restore and build physical strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, and stability. The goal of therapeutic exercise in chiropractic is to return an injured person to a pain-free, fully functioning state. Ask Doctor Foster about recommending a series of exercises designed with your particular injury in mind.

Asset 6

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual Lymphatic Drainage or MLD is a type of massage that provides for the natural drainage of the lymph, using rhythmic circular movements to stimulate lymph flow. The therapist gently rubs, strokes, taps or pushes the skin in directions that follow the structure of the lymphatic system so that accumulated lymph fluid can drain through proper channels.

Asset 1

Joint Mobilization

Joint mobilization is a manual therapy, a type of passive movement of a skeletal joint performed by a physical therapist or chiropractor. It is usually targets a specific joint with the goal of achieving a therapeutic effect. When applied to the spine, it is known as spinal mobilization (see above). But for a joint, it is the use of skilled graded forces to move a joint in a desired direction.
